[a]And in her forehead was a name written, A mystery, [b]that great Babylon that mother of whoredoms, and abominations of the earth.

[c]And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of Saints, and with the blood of the Martyrs of JESUS: and when I saw her, [d]I wondered with great marvel.

[e]Then the Angel said unto me, Wherefore marvelest thou? I will show thee the mystery of that woman, and of that beast that beareth her, which hath seven heads and ten horns.
